12 STAGE PUMPSTATION CONTROL

JUPITER successfully completed the commissioning the control panel for pump station. With this control panel four 25HP pumps and two 6 HP pumps can be controlled by a mere flipping of switches. These pumps are twelve stage and three phase pumps, as they have pump water to a distance of more than two kilometers. The control panel was designed, keeping in mind the safety of the operator, the efficient use of energy as these were high powered pumps and relative ease of use.

Earlier these pumps were controlled with the help of fuse and star delta converters, which though solving the purpose came at a high energy and had safety issues. This new control panel uses industrial grade protection breakers and soft starters to prevent high inrush of current.

The key highlights of the control panel are as follows

• All the control components are mounted and wired inside IP rated enclosure

• Controls switches and indicators are provided on the door for ease of operator

• The panel has the ability to switch between two EB and a Generator power sources

• Corresponding digital energy meters are provided for the power analysis

• Pumps are controlled by Industrial grade soft starters

• Proper wiring diagrams with latex sleeve numbering was provided for troubleshooting

• Energy saving curves with comparisons were provided to the customer
