SECURITY AT VILLA

"Security is something everyone of us need. Our house being a Villa type and on the outskirts of the town, we did not want to have a manned security personnel, as we feel it invades our privacy at home. But having old parents at home and also a new born, we were thinking of ways to secure our home. Owing to the nature of my business, I would need to travel frequently and sometimes the trip duration exceeds more than a day.

As everyone often does, we contacted a CCTV solution provider. We got a couple of companies who had a look around the premises and suggested we needed 12 cameras around the house. The quote was also not cheap. There were considerable wires running all over the place and to make them concealed there was a lot of alteration that needed to be done to the house itself. There was also major issue with power backup to all the cameras. The entire system will fail if we do not have a stable power backup in case of power cuts. Someone has to constantly look at the footage from these cameras to detect intruders, which was next to impossible. So overall CCTV is just good enough for back tracing and event that has happened. Such scenarios are ok for work environments, but not suitable for my home.

When we were looking for alternate solutions, that was when we were contacted by JUPITER Control Systems regarding an advanced wireless Ajax security system. When the product was explained to us, it seemed too good to be true. All sensors are wireless, no sensor needed a single wire to be connected for signal or power, everything was plug and play. Whole system has battery backup. A consolidated easy to use mobile app, which can be operated by anyone and everyone. When JUPITER explained with hands on experience with the demo kit, everything worked seamlessly. We immediately placed an order for the same.

The entire equipment was fitted in half a day, the app was installed to all the family members and not only security, we had various automation done to the home itself. We no longer need to step to the backyard of the house to turn on the pumps. We don’t need to switch off the pumps in case of overflow. Everything was done from the mobile itself from anywhere. In addition, two CCTV wifi cameras were also linked into the same app. Overall it’s a worthwhile investment, which we are now using every day. At the end of the day, it satisfies the two most important goals in everyone’s life, Safety and Security. We love the product and would recommend it highly to others."

"Our main concern for security was that our new house in Chennai had multiple accessible entry points, that needed to monitored daily to ensure they are closed and secure. The first few days of living in the house was very scary due to fact that it was hard to know if everything was closed and stayed closed through the night. So we decided we needed something to let us know if anyone was using the doorways after we had gone to sleep. We were recommended to use Ajax Security System through a family member.

All the products were wireless and well placed that they cannot easily be seen by people who don't know it is there. As we learnt more and more how to use the app linking the devices we find that it is a very easy process and there is very little maintenance involved despite how many is used."

SECURITY AT JEWELLERY

"We are a reputed jewellery manufacturer, having our showroom in Sivakasi, since 1998. Our Showroom pans over two floors with huge display of jewels. Security has always been our top most priority, in our line of business. Though we have more than 70 CCTV cameras, we always prefer an added alarm intrusion system. Even in earlier days we had imported a PSTN line security system from the Singapore on 2015. We had to configure it on our own with wires running all over the showroom for PIR sensors, fire sensors etc. It was doing the desired job well, but with advancement in technology we were still reliant on stable landline connection, using SMS for arming and disarming the system, alerts also happen over SMS. Even in case of alert at night, we won’t know unless we come to the showroom and check the cards to know which zone and what error.

With technology evolving over the years, there were many other security systems which caught up, with more intuitive alarming as well as working over the internet. But we never upgraded to the newer system, as most systems will need to run new wires with a lot of time-consuming work. Our showroom runs all days of week and including festive holidays. More over there wasn’t any major upgrade other than zone wise notifications, but still system uses physical buttons to arm the system or disarm them, else can be done from mobile over SMS. It wasn’t worth remodelling and rewiring the entire system.

All sensors are wireless (means totally wireless, no power to the sensors too), also includes a wide variety of sensors, door, motion, motion with cam, laser, fire, leakage, sirens are just a few to name. There were no communication issues, no false alarms, high battery backup, multiple communication methods and best of all it has a mobile app which gives plenty of info and very easy to use. With that in mind we placed an order for the entire system comprising of vault doors, motion sensors, motion cam, fire and laser sensors. The installation was done by JUPITER seamlessly and completed by 3 hours and all this while the showroom was functioning in full capacity with visitors.

The alarm intrusion system is running for more than a month now and we use it extensively. The product and support have been highly impressive. We have full peace of mind and would highly recommend this system for houses, shops, industries etc."
