DOMESTIC WIRING TO INTERNATIONAL STANDARDS

JUPITER is now finally into the domestic segment as well. Out first attempt to provide international solutions to domestic house wiring too. We had a customer who was not happy with the quality of electrical contractors in the market. So he approached us with his dream home project. After the lengthy interview of whats wrong with the current practices of the contractors in the construction segment and how we can make the electrical wiring better and to expected standards of our end user.

It was a three floored residential building with all modern amenities. The solution involved the following

• Use of international standard cables instead of local Finolex or Orbit make, which gave us more flexibility, better quality at cheaper price

• Proper load splitting with phase change over distribution box in each floor

• All stripped ends of wires are properly crimped with lugs to avoid improper contact

• We can proudly say the entire three floors were wired without use of insulation tapes

• All wires were single run without any joints

• Even neutral looping was not just like joining all wires and taping them. We use special block connectors to have all the neutral terminals connected

• We never compromise on safety of our residents. No live copper wire would be seen anywhere behind switch boards. This prevents shock risk when the switch box is opened

• Even Adjacent switches are properly looped with cables

• Earth wiring is properly looped and terminated separately to the earth pit

• Wire color codes are followed as per standards

• Ethernet wiring is done concealed to all corners of the house to avoid wifi coverage issues

• Internet wiring and CCTV wiring is future proof and neatly routed to a section of the house for security purposes

• Inverter load is split, making it ready for optimum use during power failure conditions

• Modern security solutions are also implemented like motion sensors and biometric security access
